Hi, I’m Zohar Kennard—a designer and student at the Rhode Island School of Design, where I study Industrial Design. For me, design isn’t just about creating objects; it’s about shaping experiences, challenging norms, and making a tangible impact.
As a biracial and multicultural designer, I bring an intersectional perspective to everything I create. My time at RISD has been an exploration of not just craft, but responsibility—understanding where design has fallen short in the past and how we can push it toward a more inclusive, accessible future.
My work spans multiple disciplines, from crafting interpretive experiences at The Getty Museum to exploring play and innovation in toy design at Mattel. Whether through industry collaborations or personal projects, I’m constantly seeking ways to refine my practice, tell meaningful stories, and design with intention.
